Accommodation
Participants of POPBIO 2020 may choose from three types of accommodation located within walking distance (max 30 min) to the venue (Faculty of Science, Albertov 6, Praha 2):
1) Very low-cost accommodation
Accommodation for 20 students/young researchers at the Department of Botany, Benátská 2, Praha 2 (https://www.natur.cuni.cz/biology/botany). Participants must bring their own sleeping bag and a mattress. Shower, WC and hot water for tea/coffee will be available, food preparation (using e.g., backpacking stoves) will not be allowed. This accommodation will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis with a nominal fee. 2) Low-cost accommodation
Low-cost accommodation has been reserved at Hostel Advantage, Sokolská 11, Praha 2; www.advantagehostel.cz). In total, 38 beds have been booked in 6-8 bed rooms for the duration of the conference (May 20-May 24, 2020). The price is 500 CZK/night (cca 20 EUR) per bed; breakfast is included (but municipal fee is excluded). In addition, six two-bed rooms have been booked, costing 1800 CZK/night (cca 72 EUR) per room (breakfast included, municipal fee excluded). Bathrooms are in the corridor for both bed and room options. Prices are guaranteed if you stay 3 nights at minimum.

Accommodation (100%) should be paid by April 10, 2020. Please note that no cancelation is possible after this date and no refund will be provided if you do not arrive.
3) Recommended hotel accommodation
EA Hotel Mánes, Myslíkova 20, 120 00 Praha 2 (https://www.hotelmanes.cz/) offers two-bed rooms per 130 EUR/night and room, breakfast included. Conference organizers booked 30 rooms in this hotel for a period of May 20-May 24, 2020.

You may of course arrange accommodation by yourself in other locations. When doing so, keep in mind that in May it may be quite busy in Prague, so book your accommodation as soon as possible.
